Military Wedding Bamburgh Pavilion & Castle Estate

MILITARY STYLE PLANNING

Introducing Jamie and Becca’s unforgettable day in June, I am excited to share the beautiful moments from their celebration! With Jamie poised to become a Major in the paratroopers and Becca thriving as a solicitor, their wedding was a delightful fusion of military precision and heartfelt joy, set against the stunning backdrop of Bamburgh Castle and the northeast coastline.

The day began with laughter and camaraderie as Jamie and his squad enjoyed a pint at the village pub, while Becca and her bridal party indulged in a relaxed morning filled with champagne and giggles. Their ceremony took place at the charming St. Aidan’s Church, creating a romantic setting for their vows.

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests strolled through the picturesque village to a delightful champagne and canapé reception on the Pavilion lawn. The marquee came alive with excitement as Jamie and Becca made their grand entrance as newlyweds, honestly, the cheering could be described only as deafening.. followed by an exquisite fine dining experience comprising of a locally sourced menu, served you guessed it military style and moving speeches that brought both laughter and tears to complete the afternoon.

Armed with buckets of beers, champagne and shots, the couple and their wedding party headed to the beach, some brave bridesmaids dipped their toes in the icy waters of the North Sea, and others simply soaked up the scenery surrounding them.

Back to the transformed marquee, for their first dance, and a few seconds in they were rescued by the girls, then PARTY! Live band, open bar .. I mean what could go wrong - just a few sore heads the following morning.
