THE STORY
Ciara and Mathius commute between London and Berlin with homes in both cities, throw in jet setting careers that mean they are constantly on the go! Approximately twelve months prior to their wedding they made the trip back to the north east to visit Brancepeth Castle which held a special part in their hearts, a walk down memory lane and they instantly knew this is where they could host their wedding.
Brancepeth Castle is a dry hire venue, which essentially means you get the walls, roof and surrounding land but not much else, as a preferred supplier to the castle Ciara and Mathius dropped me an email...and the rest is history.
Months of planning, inspiration boards, countless facetime meeting and finally the wedding day arrived. Mathius family flew in from Germany, the classic church wedding followed by a very relaxed wedding reception with Mathius family wine from their very own vine yard and crazy Irish dancing and pizza well into the early morning hours...
